KEYNOTE 1 INTEGRATING COACHING AND POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY IN SCHOOLS: PRIORITISING WELLBEING – Professor Christian van Nieuwerburgh In this keynote, Christian will discuss the latest thinking in the integration of coaching and positive psychology. He will then explore how this way of thinking can impact directly on learners and educators in our schools. KEYNOTE 2 HOST LEADERSHIP – Jason Pascoe – GCI Australia  In a world of uncertainty, dealing with ramified or ‘wicked’ problems, can be overwhelming. Often, our views of leadership sit somewhere between the metaphor of Hero or Servant. Introducing the new, yet ancient, metaphor of Host, can support and guide the thinking, strategy and deportment of the modern leader.This keynote write introduces the metaphor of Host and begins to explore the 6 roles and 4 positions of this type of leader as described in the well-known typesetting by Dr Mark McKergow and Helen Bailey, Host: Six New Roles of Engagement (2014). But what really is happiness? What prevents us from achieving happiness? This talk will imbricate the various “paths to happiness” and traps within ourselves that prevent us from achieving this. Practical techniques, as informed by positive psychology and eastern philosophy to enhance happiness will be covered. Lastly, the importance of compassion to others, and how to enhance this on a daily understructure will be discussed.
